Godiag BMW FEM/BDC Programming Test Platform new tutorials:
Generate FEM/BDC key with CGDI BMW/Xhorse VVDI BIMTool Pro on bench.
Main steps:
First, use CGDI Prog BMW/ VVDI BIMTool Pro to read the original key info
Then, use Autel MaxiIM KM100 to generate new key and read key status
Next, use CGDI Prog BMW/ VVDI BIMTool Pro to program the new key
Finally, use Autel KM100 to read the status of key programmed
1.With CGDI Prog BMW
Step 1: Connect device
- Connect CGDI Prog BMW MSV80 key programmer to computer via USB cable, and connect to Godiag BMW FEM/BDC Test Platform via OBD cable
- Connect Godiag Test Platform to FEM/BDC module
- Supply power to Godiag FEM Test Platform
Step2: Read Original Key Info
Run CGDI BMW software
Click FEM/BDC Key Match on the main menu
Select one blank key (i.e. key 8) and click “Generate dealer key”
Select “Reading the car key” to enter the ISN code
Put the original key into to the induction coil of Godiag FEM/BDC Test Platform
Read the key info successfully.
Step 3: Generate and identify new key with Autel KM100
Put a new key into the coil of Autel MaxiIM KM100E
Generate key and read the key info, the key status is not locked.
Step 4: Program new key with CGDI BMW
Put the new key generated into to the induction coil of Godiag FEM Test Platform
Program key successfully
Press the Start button of Godiag Test Platform, the programmed key lights up the analog dashboard
Step 5: Identify new key with Autel KM100
Use Autel KM100E to read the new key again, the key is locked now.
The FEM key programming is successful.
2.With Xhorse BIMTool Pro
Step 1: Connect device
- Connect VVDI BIMTool Pro to computer via USB cable, and connect to Godiag FEM/BDC Test Platform via OBD cable and GODIAG OBD2 to BD25 Cable
- Connect the CON7, CON8, and Power Connector of Godiag Test Platform to the corresponding position of FEM/BDC module
- Connect a power supply and Godiag OBD2 to BD25 Cable for Godiag FEM Test Platform
Step 2: Read IMMO data of working key
Run BMW Tool software
Click FEM/BDC Key Learn>> Get Key Info>> Select one blank key ID (i.e. key4) >> Prepare dealer key with ignition switch
Select “Have a working key, switch ON ignition with working key and continue”
Insert the working key into the induction coil of Godiag BMW FEM Test Platform
Read IMMO data successfully
Step 3: Generate new key with Autel MaxiIM KM100
Generate new key and then read the key info. The current key status is not locked.
Step 4: Learn new key
Put the new key generated into the coil of Godiag Test Platform
Learn key successfully
Step 5: Read new key status with Autel KM100
Use the Autel KM100E to identify the key learned. Now the key status is locked.
Result:
BMW FEM/BDC key can be added by CGDI Prog BMW Key Programmer/ VVDI BIM Tool Pro and Godiag FEM/BDC Programming Test Platform by bench successfully.
