How to add new key to 2016 BMW 5 Series F18 LCI 525Li by Xhorse VVDI2 programmer and Godiag CAS4 CAS4+ Test Platform? Check the step-by-step guide.

The operation process (word& image):
Connect Godiag CAS4 test platform to BMW CAS module, and connect to Xhorse VVDI2 by GODIAG OBD2 to OBD25 Cable, then connect VVDI2 to the computer via USB cable
Run VVDI2 Quick Start
Click BMW >> Key Learn>> CAS Key Learn>> Get key info
Detect out the car info incl. car type, general info, key info and VIN
Then Backup Coding
Save the original key info
Next Prepare dealer key with programmer
Tick ‘Have a working key. Switch ON ignition with working key and continue’
Click NEXT
Insert the working key to the ignition switch then press OK
If you get this error ‘sychronize data not correct, we need verify working key…’ Just input the working key to VVDI2 key programmer coil before continue.
Record the related CAS4/CAS4+ security key saved at ‘My document/VVDI2/CAS4’
Attention:
- Prepare dealer key with programmer must have a working key
- If you don’t have working key, the new key only support emergency start
- If you don’t have working key, you’d better prepare dealer key within ignition switch
Input the original key (support disabled key) to VVDI2 programmer
Then take out the original key and put the new key into programmer
Key written successfully
Go to car with the key, not need write back EEPROM
Put the new car key into Godiag CAS4 CAS4+ programming test platform and press the Start button, works fine.
